The group released a 45-second preview of new song "2nd Sucks" on October 6, 2010.[8] On October 7, 2010, the album's first single "All I Want" was released on KROQ Radio. The single was officially released on October 12, 2010.[9] On October 21, 2010, a full version of the song "2nd Sucks" was posted for streaming on Victory Records's Facebook.[10]

What Separates Me from You is the upcoming fourth album by A Day to Remember, to be released on November 15, 2010.[3][4] Originally set for release on October 26, 2010,[5] it was recorded at Wade Studios in Ocala, Florida between May–July 2010. It was mixed by David Bendeth, mastered by Ted Jensen and produced by Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory, who also produced the band's previous album Homesick.
Background
What Separates Me from You was recorded from May to July 23.[6] The album's title and cover art was revealed by the band in a live video through Victory Records' website, on September 20, 2010[3] and the track listing was revealed by frontman Jeremy McKinnon[7] on October 13, 2010.The group released a 45-second preview of new song "2nd Sucks" on October 6, 2010.[8] On October 7, 2010, the album's first single "All I Want" was released on KROQ Radio. On November 4th 2010, the album was added to the US Amazon website and included samples of each track, however, the samples were taken down the next day, along with a YouTube video containing all of the previews. [11] The album leaked in its entirety on November 5th. As posted on Jeremy Mckinnon's twitter, the song "Sticks and Bricks" is written about their Warped Tour family.
